Bristol Airport is the gateway to the Southwest of England, with an increasing range of full service and budget flights. Bristol airport is located about 8 miles to the South West of the City. The airport benefits from a modern terminal and excellent amenities.

The airport is located 9 miles outside the city centre, just off the A38. If you are coming from London, take the M4 until Junction 19, then take the M32 Southbound, which will take you on to the A38. From the North take the M5 until Junction 18, then the A4 towards Bath taking the A38 turn off. From the South take M5 north until Junction 22, then take the A38 towards Bristol and follow signs for the airport. Click here for a Multimap showing the location of the airport.

The check in desk is located on the ground floor of the terminal. Your travel documents will tell you the latest time you can check in for your flight but it is highly recommended that you do not wait for that time. Try to arrive at the airport with plenty of time to check in so you will have time to just relax and enjoy the airport before your flight.

The nearest train station called Temple Meads is located 7 miles from the airport terminal. The taxi rank is located within the terminal on the ground floor next to the car parking payment machine.

The information desk is located next to the right hand side of the check in desk on the ground floor of the terminal where, if you have any problems, help is available.

Within the airport, there are many services available - Banks, Bureau de change, ATMs, telephones and toilets.

Food halls are available where a wide range of restaurants, café, snacks, pubs and bars are on offer. Shopping within the airport will save you a lot of money, as it is tax/duty free. Shops available are a pharmacy, sportswear shop, a music store, gift shops, and newsagents where you can quickly pick up that last minute thing that you need to purchase.

Flight information is available all around Bristol airport. There are flight display screens all around the terminal. You can also find out flight information using the internet, teletext and telephone. Be sure of all of your flight details and information to make it a smooth journey.
