Location of Albania
Albania is located north of Greece and east of the Adriatic and Lonian Seas.
The majority of the country is covered with forest and mountains. The population of Albania is around 4 million where 95% are Albanians and 3% Greek, only 2% are other. 70% of Albanians are Muslim, 20% Albanian orthodox and 10% Roman Catholic. The capital of Albania is called Tirane.

Airports
There is only one international airport in Albania, which is called Tirana Rinas and is about 18 miles from the capital, a shuttle runs every 3 hours from the capital to the airport it takes about half an hour to get to the airport.

Language
Albanian is the main language in Albania, but Greek is widely spoken in the north and some Albanians speak English and Italian.

Places To Go
Visit to Durres City and the Amphitheatre and Archaeological Museum. There are also Opera and Ballet Theatres available in the same areas, most of this can be found in Durres area on the south side of Albania.
