Location Of Austria
Austria is 32,378 square miles and is a landlocked country, bordered by Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Hungary, Slovenia and Italy. The country on the whole is a mountainous one and nearly half of that is covered in forests.

Airports
There are over 55 airports in Austria, and 24 of them are concrete or tarmac runways, but only 3 of them are international airports. One of them is in Vienna and is only 20 minutes away form the town centre by bus.

Language
German is the official language, although other dialects are used with different variations depending upon where you are and which country is nearer, as sometimes you will find they speak that country’s language as they are on the border.

Places To Go
The startling contrast of Austria is breath-taking, and it is famous for its world renowned and premier skiing regions. Also, there are historical buildings, museums and many other beautiful sights to see. Vienna is the most popular tourist region, followed by Salzburg, Tyrol and Vorarlberg.
