Location Of Belgium
Bordered by Germany, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Belgium’s
landscape is varied with the rivers and gorges of the Ardennes, then
suddenly contrasted with its rolling plains of the countryside, then
there is its sandy coastline in the north and its great forests to
the south east.
Airports
There are 4 international airports in Belgium. One of them is in Brussels
and you can get there by means of bus, car, taxi or train.
Language
Flemish and French are the official languages. French is slightly less
widely spoken than Flemish. German is spoken, but is not classed
as an official language as less than one percent speak it.
Places To Go
Belgium has a lot going for it. Its capital, Brussels, and the string
of other engaging cities in Bruges, Ghent and Liege offer impressive
architecture, lively nightlife, first rate cuisine and numerous other
attractions for tourists. There is also the reinvented Antwerp, now
a hotbed of fashion and modern design, and the more bucolic charms
of the mountainous Ardennes region to the east, as well as the sweeping
sand of the coastline resorts of the north-western sea coast.
