Location Of Benin
Benin is located in Western Africa, which is bordering the Bight of
Benin, between Nigeria and Togo. Benin has a population of 7M. 50%
of its population are of indigenous beliefs, 30% are Christian and
20% are Muslim. The capital of Benin is Porto Novo.
Airports
Cotonou Cadjehoun Airport (COO) is located 5km or 3 miles west of the
city. Taxis are available, or if you fancy something more stylish,
limousines are also available to transport you to the city. The travel
time is approximately 15-20 minutes.
Language
The official language spoken in Benin, is French. Other languages are
also spoken such as Bariba and Fulani, which are spoken in the north,
also Fon and Yoruba spoken in the south. Some English is spoken also.
Places To Go
Try out Benin’s two national parks. Pendjari and & #8216;W’ are
simply the greatest places to view wildlife where you can see many
wild animals such as Lions, Hippos, Antelopes and Elephants.
