Location Of Bulgaria
Bulgaria is situated in Eastern Europe and is bordered by Romania, Serbia, Greece and Turkey. The Balkan Mountains sweep across the country, reaching the Black Sea coastline of sandy beaches in the east. The land is highly cultivated, with extensive cover of forests and crossed rivers.

Airports
Bulgaria has 3 international airports, all located near their major cities, and can be reached by bus, car and taxi. Two of the cities, Burgas and Varna, are located by the Black Sea, the third, Sofia, is located on the west side of the country.

Language
Bugarian is the official language, with Turkish and Macedonian being among the minority languages that are spoken. In major tourist areas, English, German, French and Russian are also spoken.

Places To Go

Borovets is a World Cup venue. It is only 45 miles from Sofia, the capital, in the Rila Mountains, and it is the oldest and largest mountain resort in Bulgaria. In Bulgarian resorts, hotels usually provide most of the nightlife. There is a disco in Mousalla, and there are also folk taverns and a wine bar. Bulgaria has a number of national parks, which are abound in rare flora and fauna, with bird species including vultures, eagles and falcons, as well as endangered animal species, such as bears, wolves and red deer.
