Location Of Cyprus
The island of Cyprus lies in the eastern Mediterranean Sea and its landscape varies from rocky coastline to sandy beaches, and from rocky hills to forest covered mountains. Between the range of hills, which run eastward along the north, coast and the "panhandle" is the fertile Messaoria Plain. The Morphou Basin runs around the coast of Morphou Bay in the west.

Airports
Cyprus has 3 international airports. 1 on the Turkish side of the island and the other 2 on the Greek side they are easy to get to as long as you are on the same side of the island.

Language
Greek is the official language on the most part, but as there is a 20% approximate Turkish speaking side Turkish is also classed as an official language. English, German and French are also spoken.

Places To Go
Even in the middle of winter, when temperatures get on the cool side, the sun usually shines for the better part of the day. The best place to soak up the Cyprus sunshine is at the beach, and with more than four hundred miles of coastline, there are plenty from which to choose.
Other than the beaches you have Mount Olympus this is the highest point in Cyprus.
