Location Of Gibraltar
Gibraltar is located on the southern peninsula of Spain on the Costa Del Sol in the Mediterranean. It is still an English colony. The island is only two and a half miles square. Morocco is visible from this point. The majority of the country is the rock, which is covered in part by forest and the world famous local monkeys.

Airports
There is only one airport on Gibraltar, which is about five minutes from the town centre, and taxis and buses go there.

Language
English is the official language, but Spanish is also spoken. Most Gibraltarians are bilingual and they combine both languages to form their own unique dialect.

Places To Go
Gibraltar is very rich in religion, with most religions represented, and there are many places of worship. For a more lively time, Casemates in the summer is full of live bands and karaoke bars. There is also a wide range of quality shops.
