DUTY FREE ALLOWANCES

The duty free allowance is:

Goods which have been obtained outside the EU:

• 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars
• 2 litres wine or 1 litre of spirits
• 60cc/ml perfume or 250cc/ml toilet water
• £32 worth of gifts.

When coming back from the EU to the UK the allowance is:

• 3200 cigarettes
• 400 cigarillos
• 200 cigars
• 3 kg of smoking tobacco
• 100 litres of beer
• 10 litres of spirits
• 90 litres of wine
• 20 litres of fortified wine i.e. port or sherry.

Passengers must be at least 17 years of age to purchase any tobacco and 18 years of age to purchase any alcohol.
